To show his support for the partnership, LinkIn CEO, Jeff Weiner, created his own 7-Second Resume.
The 7-Second Resume was adopted within training programs across the country, with some organizations making it part of their curriculum. Visits to the site – in order to learn about setting up talent pipelines for young adults – increased by 74%. Even a global company integrated the 7-Second Resume into their recruiting process and received 1,200 submissions in the first month alone.
We turned career fairs across the country into 7-Second film sets. We filmed, edited and uploaded 7-Second Resumes in real-time, allowing Hiring Managers to find them immediately. We also partnered with LinkedIn so that 7-Second Resume videos would appear front and center in each candidate's profile.
Hiring managers only spend seven seconds looking at a resume. So to help candidates without a college degree or traditional experience, we created 7-Second Resumes. It’s a tool to help opportunity youth, without a college degree, find jobs in the workforce.
