I’m a copywriter by trade, but my story has taken many shapes over the past 20 years. Recently, I’ve led a creative department, but in the past, I’ve written, directed and edited for small, big, even Fortune 50 companies. I’m a super-hybrid maker and creative problem solver with a passion for storytelling, innovation, and mentorship. I'm also a dad & husband to these lovely three ladies.

I’ve spent the majority of my career at the independent shop 22squared, formerly WestWayne. It’s where I started my career and learned my craft from one of the industry’s best writers — Luke Sullivan. Over my 20 years, I hustled, moved from city to city, and worked my way up to become a partner and SVP, Executive Creative Director of 22squared.

Most recently, I moved over to 22squared’s sister shop, Trade School, where I led the content narrative group as an Executive Creative Director.

As a creative leader at 22squared and Trade School, I’ve led a wide spectrum of national brands, including Toyota, The Home Depot, FedEx, Dunkin’, Buffalo Wild Wings, Shark/Ninja, Ad Council, PGA TOUR SuperStore, Lincoln Financial, Florida’s Natural, and the beloved Publix Supermarkets. I’ve helped create iconic campaigns such as the Buffalo Wild Wing’s “Overtime” campaign, still parodied in memes and talked about today. I’ve created award-winning and meaningful creative like “7-Second Resume” to help opportunity youth without a college degree find jobs in the workforce. And, I’ve had the pleasure to build a creatively strong and diverse office in Tampa, FL, managing a team of 45 creatives.

I did take a gap year at Hill Holliday in Boston in the middle of my 22 tenure. At Hill, I worked on Dunkin’ (for the first time), CVS, Budweiser, The Boston Globe, Massachusetts Lotto, and Tyco International.

Over my career, I’ve been featured nationally and internationally in The One Show, Clios, Effies, Communication Arts, London International Awards, Obies, and Young Guns (recognizing the best creatives under the age of 30). Of course, I will always argue my greatest achievements have been shaping, molding, and growing young talented creatives throughout my years as a creative leader.
